1. The "Silt Jam" (Mud Collapse)

The Cause: Loose soil or mud has collapsed from the side of the borewell and buried the pump. It acts like cement holding the motor.

2. Thermal Expansion (Overheating)

The Cause: If the motor ran dry or burned out, the metal body expands due to heat. It gets wedged tight against the PVC casing pipe.

The Fix: We must wait for it to cool down and use a "Chain Pulley Block" to inch it up slowly.

3. The "Stone Wedge"

The Cause: A small stone fell from the top and got stuck between the motor and the borewell wall.

The Fix: This is tricky. Pulling makes it tighter (like a wedge). We sometimes have to push it down first to release the stone.
